Change is Constant

IMG_4006

This is the first page in a sales book I inherited from my father, first published in 1964.

Three things stand out to me.

1. "Myths of the past die hard" - everyone thinks sales was easier/better when they were doing it.
2. People have been predicting the demise of salespeople for over 80 years.
3. Change is constant.

It's worth remembering that sales people are always at the forefront of change, change is essentially what all salespeople are selling.

As we prepare for another period of unprecedented change, how good are you at communicating the need for change?
